Hotfix Deployment

Summary:

On Oct 24, 2024, from 5:00PM IST to 6:00PM IST, a scheduled hotfix was successfully carried out to prod to re-enable the PDF download option in reports page. This hotfix also included resolutions for additional issues to improve user experience and functionality. The deployment was completed within a planned maintenance window with no downtime.

HotFix RootCause :

In the recent Update, PDF download option for the Execution Reports in reports page was disabled. Additionally, Few issues were identified that required attention to maintain optimal system performance.

Resolution:

The hotfix re-enabled the PDF download option and addressed other minor issues affecting the platform. The hotfix was deployed without service disruption, and post-deployment monitoring confirmed successful resolutions.

The deployment addressed below key changes:

1. Due to customer feedback and usage needs, Re-enabled PDF download option for Execution reports.
2. In reports page, Added different colors to identify execution initiated and not-initiated cases.
3. Improved element identification with different colours in compare reports.
4. Improved text descriptions in Deeplinks page.
5. Scrolling issue fixed in Deeplink detail page.
6. Standardised date and time formatting across the platform.

Impact:

• No service disruption: The update was completed without any impact on users or services.
• User experience: Users were not affected during the update, and all new features and optimisations are now live.
• Performance: Post-update monitoring indicates no degradation in system performance.
